Journalist, parapentist, and rock climber born in Russia, Katya has travelled through more than 40 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Katya has an adventurous spirit, is fluent in 5 languages, and has an impressive accumulation of experience.
For instance, she became a certified parapentist in Mendoza, Argentina and worked as a mountain guide in Torres del Paine, Chile. Furthermore, she worked as a translator and journalist in the Russian Polar Expedition on the Scorpius. She was also involved aboard the Shtandart, on which she cruised the Baltic sea, the North sea, and the Norwegian sea. What’s more, she spent a full year on the Vagabond, cruising the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic ocean. Today, Katya works as an expedition guide in Central Asia, Russia, Turquía, Iran, Mongolia, and China.
